Why another backpack company? That’s a fair question to ask, there are certainly no lack of backpack manufacturers focused on the hunting community today. 

Dennis and I set out on this journey with an idea and belief that we could create a platform that had never been conceived before. Creating a frame and suspension that would allow the hunter to carry heavy loads but maintain a level of comfort was our desire. It was equally important to have a system that was modular in design to allow you the ability to use different bag sizes with one frame and suspension. After 3 years of designing and testing we launched the integrous frame and suspension and have never looked back.

Initial Ascent Packs

We test our products extensively and construct each product to outlast even the toughest environments. Our backpack frames have been through 17 generations and spent three years in development. We hand-select our pack system materials using a thorough, arduous process. The materials we use to construct our products are the best on the market. We use Triaxial Carbon Fiber, 500d Cordura®, 400d Packcloth, UV resistant nylon webbing, waterproof YKK zippers and Duraflex® buckles and hardware. We guarantee that our materials will not fail our customers when it matters most.

We are honored to introduce the highest quality suspension system for backcountry hunters. Our IA4K & IA6K bag design uses a “V” shaped structure, which properly centers heavy loads across the back. This creates a wedge, keeping the load high and tightly fitted. Pockets, zippers, and straps are strategically placed to increase efficiency and accessibility during the hunting experience. 

Each pack is offered in the following colors: Kryptek Highlander, Olive, Coyote and Wolf Grey. 

The Day Pack Kit

The Day Pack Kit is designed for speed and agility by helping to carry only the essentials for day hunts. We have designed this system to accommodate all of our accessory attachments. Utilizing the lid space, along with the additional storage in the Pannier Load Carrier pocket, you are able to go all day. The innovative lid design allows for water bladder storage making this the most versatile Day Pack Kit on the market.

IA2K

The IA2K is a great addition to the most versatile hunting pack system on the market. This design is perfectly suited for the hunter wanting the perfect daypack or slightly more storage than our original IA Daypack (Pannier/Lid Combo).
