Earthrace is a team of former military operatives working to target wildlife smugglers, wildlife poachers, illegal logging and illegal fishing.
Earthrace has set world records, stopped whaling in Antarctica, served time in a Japanese prison and embarked on a crazy campaign to save the Amazon. They've covertly filmed the brutal Namibian Seal Clubbing, closed 2 illegal wildlife smuggling rings in Asia and exposing countless illegal logging operations. They've been shot at multiple times, knifed in the chest in Brazil, run over in Antarctica and chased out of a dodgy little town full of gangsters. All in the name of saving wildlife.
Aboard the Earthrace's ex WW2 military vessel MODOC is a volunteer crew of 15 plus Appa, our much loved tracking dog.
In 2023, Earthrace commenced joint patrols in the new CMAR Marine Protected Areas of Panama and Costa Rica. These joint patrols bring together two governments, corporate sponsors, technology and volunteers. The world's first trans-national Marine Protected Area is massive, and protecting it is a massive undertaking.
