Combat veterans and Kryptek co-founders Butch Whiting and Josh Cleghorn took what they learned from the battlefields of Iraq and Afghanistan to forge a new approach to camouflage combat gear. Built upon real-world experience and input from teir-1 operators, Kryptek’s product offerings are a unique blend of combat proven designs and modern textile technologies. The end result is a product line which challenges the norm and raises the expectations of what gear should be.
Kryptek GENESIS TESTED BY THE U.S. MILITARY
OVER a period of 12 months, the U.S. Army took 900 soldiers and tested Kryptek camo with a barrage of scientific tests to determine it’s concealment effectiveness. Their evaluation systems included an intensive true-to-scale human silhouette simulation conducted in a variety of environments, terrain and lighting scenarios. Coupled with advanced retna tracking technology, the test measured in micro seconds how long it took soldiers to acquire targets using Kryptek camo. The results were overwhelmingly in Kryptek’s favor and subsequently, Kryptek out-paced its closets camo competition to be recognized as one the most effective passive concealment pattern tested. Fast forward today and Kryptek camo is currently being used by select U.S. Spec-Ops and coalition forces overseas as well as elite SWAT and LE organizations domestically.

Small pockets in front for quick access for smaller items. pouches on rear of cargo pocket to accommodate charges and flex ties. Skid Pad on outer knee with adjustable removable kneepads. Low Pile Velcro brand tabs on knees for snuggin up the knee pads. small pocket on calf for Flex ties or other items. Boot cut for added mobility
